Title:  Digital Transformation of the Design Build Process

Description:  In the 21st century there are no shortage of transformational and disruptive technologies.  The key is to understand these and adapt your process to use them effectively. The purpose of this presentation is to brief project professionals on two of these; Smart Manufacturing and Model-Based Enterprise.  These two technologies are basically the digital transformation of the Design Build Process. To the project management professionals these technologies dramatically effect scheduling, metrics and deliverables. This presentation will provide an overview of these technologies and help in understand their benefits.

Presenter:  Roy Whittenburg, President of MBD360 LLC

Mr. Whittenburg has over 30 years of engineering and project experience.  This experience spans industries ranging from telecommunications to heavy defense vehicles and with companies ranging from small to large.  He also has 10 years experience as government support contractor developing technologies and processes that support Advanced Manufactuing, Product Lifecycle Management, and Model-Based Enterprise.  He is the current chair of ASME Y14.47 standard and founding member of the ASME MBE Standards Committee. He is also the President and Owner of MBD360 LLC, a consulting and professional training company specializing in aiding companies in the digital transformation of their Product Realization Processes.
